In a 2021 documentary, “Val,” Kilmer expressed a deep acceptance of his journey. “I have behaved poorly. I have behaved bravely. I have behaved bizarrely to some… I have no regrets,” he stated, revealing how he lost and rediscovered parts of himself throughout his struggles.
