Two Arrested in Banbury After Stabbing Incident: What We Know So Far

A violent incident unfolded on Hilton Road in Banbury just before 6:40 PM on March 31. Police responded to reports of a fight, finding one man, in his 30s, who sustained a significant stab wound to his arm. Fortunately, he is currently hospitalized in stable condition, not deemed life-threatening.

The disturbance reportedly involved 10 to 12 males, with a larger group present during the chaos. Thames Valley Police have arrested two local men, aged 37 and 45, on suspicion of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. As the investigation progresses, authorities are appealing for witnesses and any relevant footage from dash-cams or CCTV.

Detective Inspector James Holden-White reassured the community, indicating that the victim and suspects are likely known to one another and that there is no wider risk to the public. Increased patrols are being deployed to maintain community reassurance.
