Students and Parents Raise Alarm Over JEE Main Errors: What You Need to Know
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2025 Session 2, igniting a wave of student and parent outrage. Many have taken to social media, particularly X, to express serious concerns about discrepancies in their response sheets. Students report that the data provided by NTA does not match their actual attempts, leading to frustration and confusion.
“I attempted 71 questions, but the response shows them all as unanswered!” one parent exclaimed, voicing the anxiety many feel about the implications for their children’s futures. Another noted, “My daughter attempted 50 questions, but it displays only 48 as correct.” This inconsistency is troubling, with numerous claims citing possible errors in the answer key itself, including nine mistakes—four in Physics, three in Chemistry, and two in Mathematics.
As the pressure mounts, educators and stakeholders are demanding prompt corrections to ensure students are not adversely affected. Many are looking for a resolution from NTA, worried that the current chaos could impact their academic prospects significantly. The situation calls for immediate clarity and action to restore trust in the examination process.
