It began when a couple, claiming a piece of glass almost broke the woman’s expensive veneers, refused to pay a £64.85 bill. Miraz Yolcu, the managing director, expressed his disbelief, stating that the couple’s actions could seriously harm small businesses. The incident, reported to Cheshire Police, highlights the risks of false claims within the restaurant industry. Miraz described the moment as shocking; they had ordered a variety of dishes, including Penne San Marino and a chargrilled lamb shish kebab, before making the claim.
