Breaking: National Testing Agency Discontinues JEE Main Session 2 Final Answer Key
In a surprising turn, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has removed the final answer key for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 exam shortly after its release on April 13. Initially expected to accompany results on April 17, the answer key’s sudden disappearance from the official website has left many students puzzled.
This key had dropped two questions: one from the April 3 first shift exam and another from April 2. The provisional answer key had been shared earlier on April 11, allowing candidates to voice concerns until April 13. With over 10 lakh students participating in this session, the stakes are immense.
On April 16, the NTA responded to widespread complaints regarding inaccuracies in response sheets, particularly for the April 9 exam, where issues such as missing answers and incorrect markings were highlighted by various coaching centers, affecting nine questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The final rankings will incorporate scores from both Session 1 and Session 2, taking the higher total from candidates who attempted both sessions. Ultimately, the top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for the JEE Advanced 2025, making clarity on the answer key crucial for those aiming for prestigious engineering institutions. As students await resolution, the focus remains on ensuring fairness and accuracy in the examination process.
